There is no unified standard for the quality evaluation of fiber laser cutting machine in the world. my country has no standard for laser cutting quality so far. The main basis for detecting laser cutting quality is JIS and WES (welding specifications). There are standardization issues about laser cutting in CEN (European Organization for Standardization) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization). The ISO9000 series of quality assurance methods provided by EU mainly studied the cutting standards and standard sample regulations of fiber laser cutting machines, including: cutting quality grade classification, setting sample and processing sample standards, optical system, price sample model and beam characteristics, etc.

 

For fiber laser cutting machine processing, the evaluation of its processing quality mainly includes the following principles:

 

1. Smooth cutting, no stripes, no brittle fracture;

2. Narrow slit width, which is mainly related to the size of the laser beam spot diameter;

3. Good slit verticality and small heat-affected zone;

4. No material burning, no molten layer formation, no large slag;

5. Surface roughness of the incision. The size of the surface roughness is the key to measuring the surface quality of laser cutting.
