The so-called clockwise cutting is to cut the workpiece clockwise, and counterclockwise cutting is to cut the workpiece counterclockwise. The NC cutting machine is not as flexible as closing cutting. It can cut one knife clockwise and then one knife counterclockwise. The purpose must be to prevent the thermal deformation of the workpiece.

For example, when cutting a square workpiece from the edge with a NC flame cutter, when cutting counterclockwise, the whole workpiece will stretch outward when cutting to the third edge, and the last edge is not straight.
