How to connect the work cable of a CNC plasma cutting machine

1. Insert the work cable connector into the socket on the front of the plasma power supply of the CNC plasma cutting machine. Align the core on the connector with the opening at the top of the socket (the eight-core opening at the top of the work cable socket).

2. Push the work cable connector directly into the socket. Rotate the connector clockwise about 1/4 turn until the connector is fully fixed to the locked position.

1. Incorrect work cable will cause unstable plasma arc of CNC plasma cutting machine. The work cable meets the requirements of specified amperage, length and connector. Be sure to use a work cable suitable for the plasma power supply used. The amperage of the work cable is marked near the rubber sleeve of the work cable connector.

2. Loose work cable can cause overheating

Any time you want to move the work cable or the plasma power supply of the CNC plasma cutting machine, you should check the work cable connector to ensure that it is fully connected to the plasma power supply and is not loose.
