In the CNC plasma cutting industry, the use of various types of dust removal systems is relatively mature. There are various dust removal forms to choose from for different customer groups and their different needs, and the main CNC plasma cutting machine smoke treatment methods mainly have the following three directions:
1. Water bed treatment method
The water bed treatment method is to install a water storage work platform at the bottom of the CNC plasma cutting machine, so that the workpiece to be cut is completely underwater, and the cutting operation is completed underwater, so that the smoke and dust generated by the cutting are captured by water, thereby improving the working environment of the processing area. This treatment method is used to purify the cutting smoke. Metal oxide dust is easy to cause hardening underwater, and it is difficult to remove the hardened dust.

First, water surface lifting water bed: The water bed contains a closed air box, and air is blown into the air box to discharge water so that the water surface is submerged above the surface of the steel plate. When picking up fallen parts or cutting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, it can release the air inside the air box to lower the water level.
Second, drilling and cutting water bed: This water bed has a special design for the water bed and frame module for laying steel plates to prevent the damage of the traditional water bed cutting board to the tool.
Third, water tank water bed: This water bed is different from the water bed for water surface lifting and lowering. It does not contain a closed air box. Its water surface height is fixed and can only be adjusted through the water inlet and outlet. However, it is simple to manufacture, low in cost, and easy to maintain. It is suitable for customers who do not need to raise or lower the water surface and have low requirements.
2. Semi-dry treatment method
The semi-dry treatment method uses a semi-dry workbench plus a dust collector. The semi-dry workbench stores a small amount of water at the bottom, and the cutting board of the upper frame module is higher, forming an exhaust duct. This dust removal method has good dust removal effect, simple structure, convenient maintenance, and a relatively high popularity rate. It is a dust removal method commonly used by many customers. For different customers, it is further subdivided into the following different forms.
First, blowing and suction: use a blower to blow air on one side and use an air duct to exhaust air on the other side. It is suitable for customers who do not require a wide cutting format. It is mainly low-cost and small in size.
Second, double-suction: use air ducts on both sides to exhaust air at the same time. It is suitable for customers who have a wide cutting format and have high dust removal requirements.
Third, dust removal by dust collector: the plasma dust at the terminal enters the dust collector, which completes the treatment of the plasma dust and then discharges the treated gas into the atmosphere. The dust removal effect of the dust collector is good, which is suitable for customers with high environmental protection requirements and convenient dust treatment.
Fourth, dust removal by exhaust fan: the plasma dust at the terminal is extracted by the exhaust fan and led to the pool, so that the plasma dust is absorbed by the water. This dust removal method has low manufacturing cost, low maintenance cost and convenient maintenance.
3. Dry treatment method
The dry treatment method is to install a dry working platform under the CNC plasma cutting machine, configure a set of cutting dust collectors, and directly transport the dust-containing fume generated during cutting to the purifier for treatment. This treatment method will not produce secondary pollution during the purification process, and the dust cleaning is convenient. It is suitable for the purification of various metal cutting smoke and meets the indoor and outdoor emission standards. The smoke capture methods can be divided into the following types.
First, blowing and suction: This method is the same as the blowing and suction method in the semi-dry treatment method.
Second, double suction: This method is the same as the double suction method in the semi-dry treatment method.
Third, central damper: This smoke capture method is to set a central damper in each module in the working platform. When the plasma cutting machine is cutting, the damper in this area is opened to complete the exhaust. This method has good exhaust effect and low cost, and is suitable for customers with small cutting format.
Fourth, side damper type: The principle of the central damper type is the same. It is to complete the exhaust by opening the damper in the cutting area, but it has two dampers, which is suitable for customers with wide cutting format, and the working platform of this method is easy to maintain and repair.
The three plasma cutting dust control methods introduced above are the dust removal methods that Farile uses more maturely and has a relatively high promotion rate. Compared with the dust removal methods of other equipment manufacturers, it has a wider range of choices and wider applicability.
