If they are not axial, it will affect the cutting effect, and in severe cases, it will cause the nozzle to heat up and burn out. Let's take a look at the debugging method of coaxiality of fiber laser cutting machine.

Coaxiality debugging mainly refers to adjusting the coaxiality between the nozzle light outlet and the laser beam. It is necessary to ensure that the center of the nozzle and the center of the laser beam are on the same straight line. When viewed from a cross section, they are concentric circles.


The coaxiality between the nozzle light hole and the laser beam is one of the important factors affecting the cutting quality. If the nozzle light hole of the laser cutting machine is not coaxial with the laser beam, the cutting quality will be affected in the following aspects:

1. Influence the cutting section

2. Affect the quality of sharp corners

3. Affect perforation


How should the coaxiality of equipment be tested and debugged?

Coaxiality detection method:

Nozzle: Size 1.2mm Tools: Transparent strand tape paper

 

Method: 1. Adjust the coaxiality at focus 0 so that the laser is in the center of the nozzle;

2. The focus is larger or smaller than 6mm and the light is emitted;

3. If the collection point 0 and the lighting point greater than or less than 6mm are both in the center of the nozzle, it is normal.

 

If the nozzle exit hole is not coaxial with the laser beam, how should it be adjusted? Please see the method, coaxiality adjustment method:

1. Return the focus of the laser head to zero on the operating software, and change the laser burst power to 10%.

2. It can be replaced with a 5mm diameter nozzle/single or double layer.

3. Take a piece of transparent tape and stick it on the flat surface of the nozzle

4. Click the laser burst button and release it immediately

5. Remove the tape and check the mark to see if the light spot is in the center of the nozzle circle

6. If the light spot is not in the center of the nozzle circle, you need to adjust the position of the light spot by rotating the two left and right screws with an Allen wrench until the light spot moves to the center of the circle (this process requires repeated testing and adjustment)

 

Whether the coaxiality is consistent has a greater impact, especially when cutting thick plates. Therefore, the coaxiality of the nozzle light hole and the laser beam must be adjusted before the fiber laser cutting machine is cut to obtain better cutting results.
