1. Cutting should start from the edge; cutting from the edge as much as possible, cutting from the edge can prolong the life of the consumables. When cutting, aim the nozzle at the edge of the workpiece and start cutting.

2. Among the plasma consumables, electrodes and cutting nozzles are consumables with high replacement frequency, so to reduce unnecessary arcing, place the cutting torch within the walking distance of the cutting plate.

3. Take a reasonable cutting distance: the cutting distance is the distance between the cutting nozzle and the surface of the workpiece. When perforating and cutting, it should use 2 times the normal cutting distance.

4. Try to keep the cutting torch and consumable parts of the CNC cutting machine as clean as possible: any dirt may affect the efficiency of the plasma system. Always check the connection rib of the cutting torch, clean the electrode contact surface and nozzle with a hydrogen peroxide cleaner, and replace it. When disposing of consumables, place them on a clean lint-free cloth.

5. The distance from the cutting nozzle to the board is kept constant, so as to reduce the electrode burnout.
