2. Choose an effective cutting distance
The cutting distance is the distance between the nozzle of the CNC plasma cutting machine and the surface of the product workpiece. This distance should be kept as stable as possible, generally around 3-8MM. If it is too far, it will not only consume a lot of power, but the cutting penetration capacity will be reduced, and it will be relatively It consumes more electricity and shortens the service life of the electricity stage. Although it is too close, it is simple, but it consumes a lot of money on the nozzle. The service life of the nozzle will be doubled, and it may even be burned as soon as it is installed. When there is a hole, try to use normal 2 times the cutoff distance or use the larger aspect ratio that the plasma arc can deliver.
3. The hole thickness and cutting thickness should be within the allowable range of the equipment system software.
The CNC plasma cutting machine cannot break holes in steel plates that exceed the working thickness. The general hole thickness is 1/2 of the normal cutting thickness. Try to cut within the normal cutting thickness range of the plasma cutting machine rating, and try not to cut at the limit cutting thickness. The normal cutting thickness of domestic cutting machines is generally 60% of the maximum cutting thickness indicated by the manufacturer, Zhejiang, etc. Li Zhejiang plasma cutting machine cutting machine, try to cut within this thickness range, you can protect the cutting gun well.
4. Keep the plasma torch dry and clean
The CNC plasma cutting machine system needs dry and clean plasma air to work properly. Stained gas is usually a problem for torch reduction systems, which will shorten the service life of consumable parts and cause abnormal damage. The way to test the gas quality is to put the cutting torch in a test state, place a mirror underneath it, and consume the torch in the cutting torch. If water vapor and mist are produced on the mirror, the cause must be found out.
